Case Studies
💎 UBR Scandinavia | Apparel & Luxury
UBR produces highly technical but sharp outerwear (coats, jackets and vests) for the international business jet set. Their coats are worn by Pep Guardiola, Jens Stoltenberg, and many other senior leaders. Mainly sold through boutique retailers, but there was clearly potential in DTC E-Commerce.
🎯 The Goal
Start scaling DTC E-Commerce customer journeys, campaign and team capabilities.

Implement best-practice channel framework, Shopify site and landing pages.
📈 Outcomes
240% increase in sales in the first 4 months of the project (vs previous year).
Maintained strong growth of 40% in sales from key new target markets over the following year.
🏡 Sugru by Tesa | Household & Personal Care
Sugru makes an innovative mouldable glue which is unique in the market. It is now part of the German Tesa corporation, the leading brand for household glue products.
🎯 The Goal
Significantly increase effectiveness of marketing channels. Drive audience and customer journey learnings.
📍 Strategy
A highly versatile product needs marketing activity with a narrow focus on specific customer problems it can solve, to avoid confusing audiences. Simplifying content and improving customer onboarding are essential for a product that needs some skill to use well.
📈 Outcomes
Immediate and significant increases in digital ad effectiveness, with email taking the largest share of growth.
Reduced workload thanks to simpler content marketing, which freed up resources for improving creative & customer insights.
☕️ Pact Coffee | Food & Drink
Pact Coffee is the leading coffee bean subscription business in the UK. They pioneered high-quality fresh coffee sales and customer-friendly subscription services.
🎯 The Goal
Scale customer acquisition and create significant growth through customer referrals
📍 Strategy
Identify early-adopter audiences who are willing to spend up to 300% more compared to a ‘standard’ supermarket product. Build partnerships with media & brand to increase credibility, and rely less on paid ad channels.
📈 Outcomes
Ultra-fast growth in customer base by 20-30% per month for over a year.
Built foundation of loyal early-adopter customers, making referral marketing the biggest source of customer growth
About Me
I grew up in my family’s hotel in Germany, a business built over 100 years and three generations. This made me very aware of taking the long-view and being intensely focused on understanding your customers.
I moved to the UK to study at Oxford University (Economics & Management) and since been working for 10+ years to help B2C brands strengthen their growth & marketing strategy.
I’ve supported over 50 companies so far, including startups like HelloFresh, Pact Coffee, Coconut Bank, Stuart, Sugru, as well as established brands like Visa, Nectar and Oxford University.
Beyond all this, I’m interested in meditation, the Mediterranean, hiking and all things food & drink. I also give 10% of my income to two very impactful non-profits: GiveDirectly, and the Clean Air Task Force.
